A lot of Behringer pedals are based around the classic Boss gear but use cheaper, lower-quality components in order to be able to sell the pedals on at a very low price. The DM100 is designed to have a variety of distortion tones available at the flick of a switch, it emulates the sounds of the Boss DS-1, the MXR Distortion +, and the ProCo RAT. I have not tried this particular Behringer pedal.
