Skinpimp Brand Sold

The mad scientist that is Ryan Kirkland (founder of Skinpimp pedals) has today confirmed that he has sold his company to another party. A thread popped up on TGP in the early hours of this morning saying that Ryan and his company had parted ways. The rumour mill truly started turning and all kinds of allegations against his business partner and issues of his family’s health were posed as possible reasons for his departure.

Thankfully though Ryan posted his own response confirming what had actually happened and, gladly, it is not to do with the ill health of himself or any loved ones.

”Hey Guys ,
Thanks for all the kind words , it really means alot .

I dont want to go in detail of what happened because simply to keep it from being one sided.

First thing I want to make clear is Stephen was not a partner in this . I showed him how to build and tune the way I do and he does a great job at it . Stephen and I still very close friends , and will continue to be so . He is simply doing what he needs, to take care of his family .

I sold the company to another person, in hopes of someone stepping in to help make it what it needs to be . He can name himself if he sees fit . but it was no longer a fitting situation I needed to be involved with , and had to do what was best for my family , level of stress over the situation .

I really appreciate all the support and love you guys have given me over the years , and I will be back at it in other form in due time .

This wil be my last post on the matter, I just didn’t want to see any unnecessary backlash towards Stephen , as he had nothing to do with the situation at hand .

So what is next for Ryan? It sounds like the stress of owning a company that got bigger than he intended took its toll, so perhaps he will return to making one off custom orders in very limited quantity sometime in the future. I was always in interested in the 3OD.
