BARBER TONE PUMP

What We Say: The Tone Pump is primarily an EQ tool but it also offers some clipping and boosting facilities.

BARBER SUPER SPORT

What We Say: The Super Sport is based on an early custom-shop model of the Direct Drive.  The Direct Drive SS ceased production a while back and this is the answer to those who didn’t have a chance to buy one before production stopped. This should be a very tweak-able and versatile overdrive with FIVE internal trim pots for total tonal adjustment.

BARBER LTD SR

What We Say: SR stands for Special Recipe. The LTD SR is based on the early prototypes of the regular LTD overdrive pedal which is said to have an extremely flat, almost transparent voicing, until you touch the tone knob.

What We Say: The Launch Pad is designed to be the ultimate uncoloured clean boost, or transparent boost pedal. It offers up to 20 decibels of clean boost and with an internal working voltage of 24V (stepped-up internally from a 9V power supply) this provides massive headroom and clarity.

BARBER DIRECT DRIVE LG

What We Say: The LG stands for Low Gain. This is a custom-shop version of the Direct Drive but with a new gain circuit that is much lower and smoother than the original. It was designed to give the vintage, smooth, rich tones of yesteryears whilst maintaining the clarity and punch of the original Direct Drive.

What They Say: ”…The Direct Drive LG is an “ultimately vintage sounding” version of the Direct Drive, this smooth/sweet version of the Direct Drive was born from a custom order in our custom shop. In Ronni’s customary way he took the challenge to devise a gain scheme that would keep the cool British character of the Direct Drive, while dialing the sound in to just that classic early era of days gone by, where British amps had tube rectification and a sweeter presentation that delivered dynamics and tone; over gain, volume and crunch. Ronni took the custom shop treatment a step further with some nice grey knobs and Green LED to offset the new cool character of this tone connoisseur’s version of the classic Direct Drive.
