I had a feeling that it wouldn’t be long before John would get a signature pedal, I’m just glad it’s not another gain pedal (Satch, Vai, MAB, etc etc).

I’ve had the the Deep Blue for a couple of years now – mine is the cheaper pcb version. It’s a great pedal – very easy to use with three nobbies for mix, repeat and delay time – I wanted something simple but with a delay sound that darkened up and decayed a bit – that’s what this unit does really well. I could have spent a lot more on a Strymon but would anly have ended up trying to get the same sound so didn’t see the point.
